With Appreciation
The whole month of October is set aside to recognize our Pastor for his service to us and dedication to God, and we will formally recognize him next week, October 11th. Let him and his family know how much you appreciate their time and commitment to us.
Thank you, Pastor Jobe, for preaching God’s Word faithfully every week. Your sermons challenge, encourage, and point us to Christ.
Christmas for Our Missionaries
For the next 6 weeks we will be collecting a Christmas offering for our missionaries. Simply indicate on an offering envelope what amount you are designating for this fund.
Please remember them in prayer – for their mission, for their safety, for the receiving and accepting of God’s plan of salvation in the mission field.
Nominations Begin Soon
In a couple of weeks, we will begin our nomination season for open positions in the church. October 18th begins nominations and the voting will take place on November 15th. Nominees must be church members.

Spero Pregnancy center provides volunteer training, called “Life Ambassadors Training”. It is coming up: 3 Thursday evenings in November — 5, 12, 19 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm.
This is training not only helps prepare for volunteering at the Center, but also helps better equip you in your pro-life stand.

National Collection Week is just around the corner, November 16-23. We will be hosting a Packing Party soon and would appreciate your help. Stay tuned for further details.
In the meantime, we continue to collect the “wow!” item this month, a special item such as a toy or craft to help stimulate their growing minds. The children also love to see personalized letters and photos.
