Business as Usual

Today, August 16th, after the Morning Worship Service, we will be holding our Quarterly Business Meeting. All are welcome to attend, but if there are important items to vote on, only church members can cast a vote. If you’re interested in becoming a church member, talk with Pastor Jobe or one of the deacons.

Seeking Eligible Stand-In

On Sunday, August 23rd, we need someone to lead Children’s Sunday School and Church. You must be a church member and have completed the Child and Youth Abuse Prevention Program. If no one volunteers, there will be no Children’s Sunday School or Church that day.

The Greeter Schedule for the next few months is up on the bulletin board. If you know you’ll not be available on your scheduled day, or if you would like to be part of this important ministry, please let Polly Miller know.

SPERO Walk for Life

This important event raises funds to help women choose life. It also raises awareness and volunteer help. This 2-mile walk is Saturday, September 12 at the Fort Gratiot Trail and Nature Preserve (Meijer parking lot). Register at 8:30 and walk at 9:00 am. BUT, you can walk at the event – or anytime, anywhere.

Pick up a registration and pledge form at the church or at the SPERO clinic on Griswold Street, or visit their website, see below:

Guests Galore

We have many people in the next few months coming to share their love of Jesus and the Gospel in their own special ways:

    • August 23rd, Pastor Rick Fleddorjohann will be with us
    • September 12th, The Thurstons Music Group will sing
    • October 31st, The Skylight Quartet will be here
    • November 8th, Pastor Tim Munger will be with us all day

Remember our Missionaries

We have been blessed with visits from several of our missionaries recently. Please remember them in prayer – for their mission, for their safety, for the receiving and accepting of God’s plan of salvation in the mission field.

Got Jesus?

Too much is never enough of our Lord and Savior. There are many opportunities to learn about how much He loves us; come hear more about the Greatest Love ever given: Sunday morning and night, Wednesday night, every other Tuesday for women, and every Saturday for men.

Operation Christmas Child

We are continuing to collect School Supplies this month; a suggestion list is on the foyer bulletin board. They now have an Amazon Storefront for additional recommendations. Remember to ask God for guidance.

Prayer Requests

Want to have a prayer request mentioned in the bulletin?
Please let Pastor John, or a deacon/deaconess know.
