Pastor John Jobe and Family
John Jobe was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He was saved in March, 1973 and surrendered to preach six months later. He attended Mid-South Bible College for one year before transferring to Midwestern Baptist Bible College in Pontiac, Michigan, where he graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education and Bible. He started one church in Memphis, Tennessee–Liberty Baptist, and then served part-time in various churches in Michigan. In 1997, he and his wife, Julie joined Baptist World Mission in Decatur, Alabama. John and Julie went to Ipswich, England, where they served for twenty years and started Lighthouse Baptist Church. John retired and came back to the U.S. in 2017. He was called to be the pastor of Wadhams Baptist Church in January, 2023, where he is currently serving.

He married Julie Neal, Smiths Creek in August, 1976. They have two children – a daughter and a son. They have three grandchildren, two girls and a boy.
