The Romans Road to Salvation

These verses will tell you that you can know for sure that your sins are forgiven and that you can have eternal life and a home in heaven. 

Everyone Needs Salvation

Romans 3:23 ∼ “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Salvation is a Gift

Romans 6:23 ∼ “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus Died for Our Salvation

Romans 5:8 ∼ “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while were were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

We Are Saved by Grace

Romans 11:6 ∼ “And if by grace, then is it no more of works; otherwise grace is no more grace.”

Salvation Comes Through Faith

Romans 4:5 ∼ “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”  

God Saves All Who Call Upon Him

Romans 10:9-10 ∼ “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Romans 10:13 ∼ “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

 

Jesus instructs us ALL to go out into all the world and preach the Gospel. That means to boldly share with everyone we know and meet, what gives us hope.  1 Peter 3:15 says, “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

Sometimes we think we are not capable, or we are uncertain of what to say, to know the verses that speak of the good news. There are many, many verses throughout the New Testament that show God’s plan He has for us; this message can be completely found in one book, the book of Romans, and it makes it easy to learn, memorize and share with others.
