Sometimes when I lay down to sleep, I find that my mind is full of concerns, regrets, plans, etc… but then, (the times when I am wise) I turn my thinking. - Sometimes, I will try to think of, and pray for the 10 biggest prayer concerns in the church family. - Sometimes I try to think of 100 blessings, or the 10 best things going on right now. Sometimes I think of those who are upset, or angry with me, and pray for them. (Jesus taught this principle in Matthew 5:44)
The conversation with God is always good, and so much better than the worrying, planning, or regretting. The next time your mind is full of things that leave you uneasy, try turning your thoughts to something more productive. If you don’t sleep better, at least you’ll lay awake better.
Have a good week. Pastor Rich
